Jonny Pucci and Cole Eisenhour approached this project with two distinct styles - one highlighting cultural identity and the other academic growth - together capturing Sycamore’s core values.
Connecting Science and Culture Through Powerful Art
Sycamore Magnet Academy takes pride in fostering a strong sense of cultural awareness and academic growth, with a emphasis on world languages and student development. The school sought to highlight these values through visually engaging murals that would resonate with students, parents, and school faculty.

Two of our talented artists, Jonny and Cole, brought this vision to life through two vibrant murals that captured the school’s identity. Jonny’s piece illustrated the journey from cub to adult wolf - Sycamore’s mascot - symbolizing student growth from kindergarten through 8th grade. Cole’s mural celebrated the school’s rich multicultural community, highlighting the diversity found in the school's community. In addition to the artwork, the Founder, Derrik, led interactive workshops focused on SEL and College and Career Readiness, inspiring students to think about their futures in a creative and meaningful way, while also receiving a hands on opportunity to paint.

This project was an exciting opportunity to enhance the school’s environment with dynamic artwork while also providing students with an educational and enriching experience.
