Derrik is the Founder and an alumni of IUSD. He has a deep passion for servicing schools in his hometown.
Turning Core Values into Cougar Pride
Stacey Middle School came to us looking for a piece that showcased their Cougar mascot alongside the values that define their campus. Past school spirit, they wanted a daily reminder of what that spirit stands for and looks like.
Devona developed a bold design pairing the Cougar and students. Alongside the install, we hosted an in-class workshop teaching students about public art and careers in the creative industry, then ran a painting workshop as an after-school program where students helped bring the mural to life.
